Peakirk Fete

After a dodgy start (raining) on Saturday afternoon when we were putting up the marquees and gazebos and a cloudy Sunday morning, we were blessed with a glorious sunny afternoon just in time for the fete opening. The usual variety of stalls and games kept hundreds of visitors occupied whilst the tea and home made cakes were the finishing touches to another successful fete. Just over £1400 was raised and this will be used to help fund a toilet at the church and some rearranging in the church itself. A big thank you to everyone who supported us and all those who worked so hard to make it happen.
