Sunday, 22nd July at 11.00am – Parish Worship led by Derek Harris, Lay Reader.
Sunday, 29th July at 10.30am – No service at Peakirk – A Benefice Eucharist at St. Stephen’s, Etton.
Sunday, 5th August at 6.00pm – Evensong led by Rev’d Mark-Aaron Tisdale
Sunday, 12th August at 10.30am – Holy Communion led by Rev’d Mark-Aaron Tisdale
Sunday, 19th August at 11.00am – Morning Prayer led by Derek Harris, Lay Reader.
Sunday, 26th August at 11.00am – An Open Air Picnic & Praise service on Peakirk Village Green, together with St. Benedict’s, Glinton (weather permitting). There will be a take and share picnic, games and free ice cream.
Everyone is welcome to come along for any of the above services
BIBLE STUDY, PRAYER AND COFFEE
The Bible Study Group is continuing to be held monthly. The next one is on 23rd July at 3 The Park from 7.00pm to 8.30pm, with the theme of “Women who met Jesus”. For further details please contact Sheila Lever on 01733 252416.
FOOD BANK
A very big thank you to all who generously donated. We handed over 26.1 kg. to the Food Bank. There is a large plastic container at the back of the church for donations which is emptied regularly. The church is open each day from 10.00am until 4.00pm.
PEAKIRK VILLAGE MAY FETE
Thank you to all who helped either beforehand or on the actual day. A very successful Fete and a total of £1,458 was raised.
OPEN GARDENS – SUNDAY 29TH JULY FROM 1PM – 5PM
Please come along and bring your friends – There are 11 gardens to view.
PEAKIRK CHURCH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
This is progressing well and you will all have received a letter with an invitation to come along on 15th September at 3.00pm to see a short presentation of their objectives with refreshments.
