ST. PEGA’S CHURCH – MAY NEWSLETTER

CHURCH SERVICES IN MAY

Sunday, 6th May at 6.00pm – Evensong

Sunday, 13th May at 10.30am – Holy Communion and Baptism.

Sunday, 20th MayNo Service at St. Pega’s but an open air service is being held at St. Benedict’s Church in Glinton at 10.30am.

Sunday, 27th May at 11.00am Parish Worship

Everyone is welcome to attend the above services.

CONFIRMATION CLASSES

Reverend Mark-Aaron Tisdale is still taking names for the Confirmation classes to be held for children and adults. Please contact him for more details on 01733 252359.

BIBLE STUDY, PRAYER AND COFFEE

Following on from the Lent Course, a Bible Study Group has been formed to be held monthly. The next one is on 22nd May at 3 The Park from 7.00pm to 8.30pm, with the theme of “Women who met Jesus”. For further details please contact Sheila Lever on 01733 252416.

FOOD BANK

The Food Bank is transferring from the Village Hall to the Church and there is a large plastic container at the back of the church for donations which will be emptied regularly. The church is open each day from 10.00am until 4.00pm.

 PEAKIRK VILLAGE MAY FETE

A last reminder about our May Fete to be held on the Village Green on Sunday, 13th May from 1.00pm onwards. This is jointly organised by the committees of Peakirk Village Hall and St. Pega’s Church. Lots of interesting stalls, music and refreshments.
