Christingle and light switch on

There was a good turnout on Sunday afternoon for the Christingle service and afterwards the switch on of the Christmas lights, both led by Reverend Mark-Aaron. We heard about the symbolism of the Christingle and the work of the Children’s Society.
Outside the lights were switched on by Revd Mark-Aaron who then led the singing of carols.
Thanks to all involved in making this event a success, from making the Christingles to the refreshments etc. We are hoping this will become a regular event in future years.
