ST. PEGA’S CHURCH – APRIL NEWSLETER
CHATS IN OLD CHURCHES
This was a wonderful well attended event with people coming from surrounding villages and even much further afield to hear the talks given about our Wall paintings and the history of St. Pega’s. Tea/coffee and cakes were served afterwards which raised £145 for our replacement roof.
ST PEGA’S CHURCH LENT LUNCH
A big thank you to everyone who attended, our supporters, and not forgetting all the helpers who ma de this event such a success. We raised £325 for Church funds and £43 for the replacement church roof with our sale of cakes.
TUESDAY@10 – ST. BENEDICT’S CHURCH
The next Tuesday@10 will be held on 9th April in St. Benedict’s Church, Glinton from 10.00am until 12 noon and it is held every second Tuesday in the month. All are welcome for a cuppa and a biscuit, not to mention the scone of the month. As the April Tuesday@10 falls in the School Easter holidays, there will be a colouring activity for children to take part in while the grown-ups sit and chat. See you there!
ANNUAL PAROCHIAL CHURCH MEETING
This is being held on Wednesday, 10th April at 7.00pm in St. Pega’s Church. Everyone welcome to attend.
COFFEE, BIBLE STUDY & PRAYER GROUP
Monday, 29th April at 7pm at 3 The Park, Peakirk and then every 4th Monday in the month. Further details from Sheila on 01733 252416.
FUND RAISING EVENTS FOR REPLACEMENT ROOF – DATES FOR YOUR DIARY
We are holding two musical evenings in St. Pega’s to raise funds for the replacement roof. Friday 17th May – The Glebe Singers and Friday 14th June – Peterborough Opera.
