When was the last time you spent a few minutes in St. Pega’s Church? If you are a newcomer to the village perhaps you haven’t yet experienced the treat in store.
St Pega’s has been at the heart of people’s lives for over ten centuries helping them to celebrate significant events through christenings or weddings. And we have been there in the sad times too, providing a dignified goodbye at the end of life. As custodians of this place, each month we offer regular services of Holy Communion and Evensong led by Reverend Mark-Aaron Tisdale and Morning Prayer and Parish Worship led by our Lay Reader, Derek Harris.
Many people who do not attend a service are welcome to sit and enjoy the peace, tranquillity and history of the place.
Along with regular services we hold various Social Activities
