Theft of lead from church roof

Sometime over night 17th November thieves have stolen most of the lead from the roof of St Pega’s Church.
This follows a similar recent theft at Etton Church. If you saw or heard anything unusual during that evening
or before please contact the police. As you can understand this has caused considerable distress to those who
have responsibility for the church and will be potentially very expensive to repair.
